Whether you’re creating a detailed itinerary or just exploring as you go, the Independence Visitor Center helps you make the most of your visit to Philadelphia and The Countryside.

Before your trip, we’ll help you plan. Where to stay. Where to eat. Where to shop. How to get tickets for hot spots and historic sites.

Once you’re here, consider the Independence Visitor Center your first stop for the Philadelphia region’s best event, touring, lodging information. You’ll also find maps, schedules of attractions, great places to eat and free wireless internet, so you can really plug in to what the area has to offer.

And when your visit is done, stop in our Independence Store for souvenirs to share with friends back home.

We’re open seven days a week, from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm in September. From October through February, we are open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. From Memorial Day to Labor Day we are open from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm.
