What’s included in a facility rental?

Facility rentals include use of the Independence Ballroom and Liberty Bell terrace for day rentals, and also include the Franklin Pre-function room with small adjoining terrace for an evening rental. Extended rental hours are also available. Tables, chairs, podium & microphone are also included in the rental. Linens, china, glassware and a dance floor can be coordinated through our caterer.

Where can I park?

Convenient parking is available at the Autopark at Independence Mall with entrances on both 5th and 6th Streets. Reduced rate parking for evening events is available.

How can I transport my guests from our hotel to the Independence Visitor Center?

How can I treat my guests to a colonial experience?

Colonial characters, storytellers, musicians, and more can be procured through the Facility Rental Manager.

Can I serve alcohol at my event?

Our caterer is licensed to serve alcohol and will provide the servers and bar setups. In accordance with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania regulations, the client provides the alcohol. You are also welcome to work with our approved certified beverage professionals.
