Come down to the Penn's Landing Waterfront and stride up Independence Seaport Museum's gangplanks for an exciting journey through maritime Philadelphia. Climb aboard two National Historic Landmarks: Admiral Dewey's 1892 Cruiser Olympia from the Spanish-American War and the World War II Submarine Becuna. Enjoy interactive exhibits as you sound loud boat horns, unload cargo from a container ship, weld and rivet a ship's hull and take an imaginary sail down the river in our rocking rowboat. Step inside our working boat shop and see a wooden boat under construction. There's a boatload to "sea" and do at the Seaport Museum!
