Home to a world-class collection of Pennsylvania Impressionism, the Michener in Doylestown also hosts nationally and internationally touring special exhibitions and showcases important regional artists. Additional highlights include the Nakashima Reading Room and the Daniel Garber mural. Intelligent Design, a new long-term installation highlights regional studio craft from its earliest beginnings to the diversity of expression today. Ensconced in the Museum's walled, lush "back yard" is an outdoor gallery, the Patricia D. Pfundt Sculpture Garden.
