The Museum tells the story of American Jews from their arrival in North America over 350 years ago to the present-exhibiting the American Jewish experience in a new five-story building on Independence Mall. It is the only museum in the nation dedicated solely to telling the story of Jews in America.

Tuesday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day and Memorial Day but closed to the public on all other Mondays (including federal holidays.) Closed entirely on both days of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day, and the first two days of Passover (April 7 & 8, 2012). Early closure (3:00 p.m.) on the eves of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, on Christmas Eve, and the first night of Passover (April 6, 2012).
On all days, tickets sales and admittance to the Museum cease half an hour before closing time.
